NEED TO LEARN SOME MANNERS

A family members funeral was in December 2007. Everyone knows how stressful and hearbreaking it is to lose a loved one. We all thought how nice it was going and that most of the family attended. One family member works for Pontotoc County D. Richard of Ada, OK. The ones that know him well, was wondering why he was there he isn't very family oreinted. We just let it pass and didn't think anything else about it. D. Richard escorted the cars to the grave site and we thought how thoughtful of him to do this.( It was odd , because usually it is City police IF ANY AT ALL.)At the gave site, everyone was visiting with one another some comforting others..All of sudden every one had a bewilderd look on there face. D. Richard had walked up to another family member right there at the grave site and arrested the family member, a close family member of the deceased, on 5 year old warrant.
It was a minor charge. But they way it was handled you would of thought it was for murder. We know it was his job,but it could have been handled in a little different manner. Not at the grave site! D. Richard knew that the family members were all going back to the church. D. could have waited 20 minutes more.They have waited 8+hours to check on a man that had been body slammed by another inmate. He layed in the cell in pain with a broken hip. Yelling for hours for someone to help him.They county law could have waited a while longer. All I'm trying to say that this was so disrpectful, outrageous. Just a little more respect for the family for what it was! A funeral. We weren't out there trying to have a good ole time. Several of the family asked D. Richard if he couldn't wait a little while longer?! All D. Richard done was smirk and shrugged his shoulders more than once.Just because we where at the grave site and everyone was really upset, for our loss.Everything was so beautiful and the preacher was comforting and bam!! This will always be a tanished moment for this family.This is just one more reason why the law in force of Ada, Ok. have such a bad reputation. They way they handle things. Then try to be so smart and acuseing. No wonder most of the people in Ada, Ok have NO repect for the Law and the Justice system. So we wonder. Are they going to be scouting out everyone's funeral?
